Dennis J. Clark

Dennis J. Clark is currently an Attorney with Clark and Associates. He was the Vice President of Compliance and Ethics for the Auto Club Group, where he served since 2005. In this role, he oversaw compliance and ethics for the largest affiliation of AAA clubs in the Midwest.
Prior to his position with the Auto Club Group, Mr. Clark was an attorney/shareholder for Plunkett Cooney, P.C., practicing corporate compliance, criminal law, civil rights and personal injury law. He was a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and served as its Secretary-Treasurer for eight years. Mr. Clark moved to metropolitan Detroit after practicing law for fifteen years in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Clark is affiliated with several legal organizations, and has held leadership positions in a number of them. He is a past president of the Eastern District of Michigan Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and currently serves on the national Board of Directors and as Treasurer of the Foundation of the Federal Bar Association, as well as a Trustee and Treasurer of the Federal Bar Foundation of Detroit. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the American Bar Association. Mr. Clark is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Dennis Clark has been honored by several organizations for his work in the community and acumen in the field of law. He is the recipient of an Outstanding Service Award from the Catholic Youth Organization, a President’s Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and has been recognized for his Distinguished Service and Commitment to the University of Notre Dame.
Mr. Clark has delivered lectures at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, University of Michigan Law School, Wayne State University School of Business and the Michigan Chapter of the American Corporate Counsel Association among many others. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame.
