Mr. Pierce has extensive experience in financial and information systems consulting beginning with his employment by the international accounting and consulting firm of Arthur Andersen & Company. After three years with Arthur Andersen & Company, he joined the regional accounting firm of Plante & Moran, where he attained the position of Manager in that firm. Mr. Pierce subsequently joined the Xerox Corporation at a management level in the Corporate Audit and Operational Analysis Division. He was responsible for providing management and information systems consulting services to Xerox divisions worldwide. He returned to Detroit in 1981 to begin Phil Pierce & Company. As managing partner of that organization, the firm grew and developed a strong network of relationships in the business community. In February of 1985, Mr. Pierce joined with Loren Monroe, former treasurer of the State of Michigan, to form the firm of Pierce, Monroe & Associates, LLC. The firm provides financial and information technology consulting with a forty-two person professional staff.

Mr. Pierce has become well recognized as a leader in the financial and information systems industry. He is one of the founding members of the Detroit Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants and subsequently went on to become president of the Detroit Chapter, regional vice president of the organization and national president. Mr. Pierce is known nationally as a financial and information technology expert. He has been invited to make presentations in virtually every major city.
