Roderick K. Rickman

Mr. Rickman is founder and Chairman of Minority Procurement Supplier (MPS) Group.
At an early age, Mr. Rickman crafted his visionary spirit by turning other people's discarded items into treasures; as a teenager employed his budding entrepreneurial skills, and began his first company in the mid-1980's. This company grew from five to nearly 150 employees and today is a Tier 1 supplier to the Big Three for environmental and management solutions.
Since its founding in the mid 1980's, MPS Group has expanded its services from a handful to nearly 100 plants around the country and seen revenues grow to over $50 million. Under Mr. Rickman's leadership, MPS Group has won several awards including GM Supplier of the Year.
Mr. Rickman has numerous other business holdings, is actively involved in the community, and serves in numerous volunteer capacities, including MMBDC and NABAS where he is the immediate past Chair.
