Detroit Parent Reentry Initiative

This collaborative is working to ease the transition from prison to home for parents preparing to leave the criminal justice system. City Connect Detroit is the primary facilitator and has provided proposal writing services to this collaboration. Formed in response to a grant opportunity in summer 2011, this collaboration is planning to reconvene in the winter of 2012. City Connect Detroit is organizing the reconvening of this collaborative and will host its winter meeting. The collaborative is preparing to revise its program design and begin recruiting additional partners, based on feedback it received from its grant proposal submission.
